What legal name change procedure do i need if my UK BANK has gotten my surname and middle name mixed up? - legal name change uk
I am a Chinese from Singapore, who recently arrived in London. Singapore My passport has my name in this format: "FirstName ChineseName" and as a result of a bank account here in the United Kingdom, the contractions in both banks insist on printing my name as "CHINESENAME name because) I (the English Chinese name was (the last word, therefore, the "last" name) in my passport. And this despite the fact that I said that was the name family name!
then ... My two cards now say, "Miss DD Meimei"
(Meimei is obviously my name in Chinese)
well done, HSBC and NatWest ......
What is the legal name change is appropriate in this situation? What role can prove that I have that my "name" next to my name?
For I am concerned, I can not register for things like PayPal and I think this confusion between the word to in my name could be a problem in the future for other things really official.

Do you have any documents in your name. Passport, birth certificate, etc. You may be able to write them and say that this is how it is done in Singapore, and must accept it. You need the Bank in writing or request to speak to the manager.
You can obtain a change of name by deed poll, but I'm not sure if I could do if you are not British.
Talk to your bank manager and certified documents to show your driver's license from your country, the birth certificate and passport, such as your name should be. They can help you in person. This should be in the "Business and Finance" published any immigration.
